Anytime Fitness, the world’s largest 24-hour co-ed fitness franchise, wanted the team at Paul David Productions to produce a commercial featuring nationally recognized comedian Louie Anderson being, well, Louie. Anytime Fitness wanted to get Louie at his best – having a casual, honest conversation with the viewer about how he is changing his life at Anytime Fitness. The commercial was produced at the flagship Anytime Fitness club in Hastings, Minnesota.

The commercial was shot on a Panasonic SDX-900 DVCPRO 50 24p switchable cameras. Paul David Productions also has high definition capabilities with a Sony PDW-700 XDCAM HD and Panasonic Varicam. All cameras are equipped with Fujinon HD lenses.

Anytime Fitness was also interested in bringing their mascot “Running Man” to life for the commercial. So the animation team at Paul David Productions put some zip in Running Man’s step to help draw attention to the contact information page at the end of the commercial.
